Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed by the facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting)
Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition accurately
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists, residents and families about care needs
Document care and observations in the resident record in a timely manner

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Connecticut) — must be active and in good standing
Comfortable providing hands-on resident care and working as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required training

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and basic safety protocols
Good documentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
