Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — help with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the care team
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive proper nutrition

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — ability to provide proof required
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care with dignity and respect
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nurses and care staff
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (e.g., orientation, immunizations, background check as required)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and comfortable assisting with ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safe handling procedures
Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and document care accurately
