Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting care accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Support residents’ emotional needs by offering respectful, person-centered interaction

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or equivalent) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Comfortable working an 8-hour scheduled shift and providing hands-on care
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and personal care techniques
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Infection control and safe patient handling
Basic charting and documentation best practices
Team communication and following care plans
