Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor patient condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and comfort
Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices
Document care provided accurately in charts or electronic records
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain prior to start
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, turning, and assisting with mobility
Previous experience in long term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe handling practices
Comfortable with charting and basic documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team
Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
