Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe care environment
Document patient care accurately and communicate clearly with the care team
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the applicable state (required)
Valid BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain per facility requirements
Demonstrated experience providing direct patient care (previous CNAs encouraged to apply)
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to follow care plans and facility policies reliably and professionally

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
Comfort with lifting/assisting patients and safe body mechanics
Ability to observe and report clinical changes accurately
Good interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Basic documentation skills and familiarity with electronic or paper charting
