Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection-control practices
Accurately record care provided and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Eligible for or currently holding Pennsylvania state CNA certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a long-term/post-acute care environment
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Compassionate, reliable, and a strong team player

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside skills
Fundamental knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with clinical teams
