Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and days scheduled by facility; Eastern Time)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents and support their daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus, new graduates welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Good communication skills for working with residents and the care team
Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
