Location: Christiana, PA

Start Date: 04-30-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, days/times assigned by facility (schedule to be confirmed upon hire)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility with dignity and respect
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Document care activities clearly and promptly to ensure continuity of care
Collaborate with the care team to deliver a warm, resident-focused environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (active and in good standing)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and infection control
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical documentation
Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Compassionate communication with residents and families
Teamwork, time management, and attention to detail
