Shift Type: Per diem (PD) pool - flexible shifts as scheduled; days, evenings and nights may be available based on facility needs; schedule varies and is assigned as needed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care to long-term care residents
- Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Participate in required competency testing and follow infection control protocols
- Advocate for residents' needs and support their dignity and quality of life
- Support and mentor CNAs and other staff to promote a positive care environment
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - active license and License/Certificate Verification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
- Current Fit Test and Trinity Respirator Evaluation where applicable
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot) required
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Trinity Color Vision testing required
- Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, and Influenza
- Completed physical/health statement per facility requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Infection prevention and control practices
- Accurate documentation and electronic charting habits
- Effective communication and teamwork within interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to follow facility policies, protocols, and competency testing
- Time management, prioritization, and adaptability in a per-diem setting
