Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care to long-term care residents
• Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Participate in required competency testing and follow infection control protocols
• Advocate for residents' needs and support their dignity and quality of life
• Support and mentor CNAs and other staff to promote a positive care environment

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) - active license and License/Certificate Verification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
• Current Fit Test and Trinity Respirator Evaluation where applicable
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot) required
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Trinity Color Vision testing required
• Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, and Influenza
• Completed physical/health statement per facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Medication administration and monitoring
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Accurate documentation and electronic charting habits
• Effective communication and teamwork within interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to follow facility policies, protocols, and competency testing
• Time management, prioritization, and adaptability in a per-diem setting
