Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Assess resident needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes in condition
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (license verification required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience working in long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
- Must be able to complete required health screenings: Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, respirator evaluation, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and influenza vaccination or documented medical/religious exemptions, and physical/health statement
- Successful completion of Trinity color vision screening where required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of long-term care best practices and resident-centered care
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Infection control, PPE use, and immunization requirements
- Good clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
- Clear communication and teamwork with nursing and clinical staff
- Comfort with facility-specific competency testing and electronic documentation
