Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality X-ray exams in a fast-paced free-standing emergency department and inpatient setting
Position patients accurately and ensure proper imaging techniques for diagnostic clarity
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to prioritize urgent cases
Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, sterile environment
Document patient information and image data precisely in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification in Radiography
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Valid Georgia state license or compact eligibility
At least one year of recent X-ray tech experience in an acute care or ED setting

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in portable X-ray and C-arm operation
Strong understanding of anatomy and positioning techniques
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems
