Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform clear, high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with care and precision
• Position patients and equipment safely while minimizing radiation exposure
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging
• Maintain detailed imaging records and manage patient information in PACS
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Follow infection control, safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

• Certification or registry as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT preferred)
• State radiologic technologist license or registration if required in Michigan
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working directly with patients of all ages and clinical conditions
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Previous clinical imaging experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography, or related field
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic radiography techniques and patient positioning
• Familiarity with PACS, radiology workflows and electronic medical records
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and dose-reduction practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy imaging environment
• Attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
• Good customer service skills and the ability to calm anxious patients
