Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor resident condition with attention to detail
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Educate residents and families about care plans and health maintenance
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe care environment
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential, active and in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to pass Trinity specialty competency testing and license/certificate verification
• Completed pre-employment health requirements including fit test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, and required immunizations
• Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen and physical/health statement
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN certificate or diploma)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment skills and basic nursing interventions
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with infection prevention and control standards
• Comfort using electronic medical records and charting tools
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams

This is a travel/contract opportunity in Michigan.
