Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub for cardiac surgeries, ensuring a sterile field and instrument readiness
Support main OR by scrubbing for ortho, neuro, vascular, robotic, urology, general, and gynecological procedures when cardiac cases are limited
Maintain and organize surgical instruments and supplies for various specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and OR team to ensure smooth case flow
Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of scrubbing experience in cardiac surgery preferred
Ability to single scrub cardiac cases

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac surgery procedures and instrumentation
Proficient in orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, robotic, urology, general, and gynecological surgical techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
