Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders with compassion and clinical expertise
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and needs
• Provide clear patient and caregiver education about therapy goals, progress, and home strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Participate actively in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes
• Mentor and support new graduates and clinicians during their Clinical Fellowship Year

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP license or eligible for California licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• New graduates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent documentation skills and understanding of regulatory requirements
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team

Education

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
