Speech-Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Contract Type: Contract
Candidate Pay Rate: $59.5 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver skilled therapy services focused on communication, cognition, and dysphagia management
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and professionally
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, strategies, and home carryover
Qualifications
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Experience with dysphagia management and safe swallow strategies
- Effective documentation and outcome tracking
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and patient/caregiver education skills
- Comfort working in a rehabilitation-focused skilled nursing environment
