Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders with evidence-based practices
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support patient goals and quality of life
Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely
Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education to support carryover and safety
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff to coordinate comprehensive care
Advocate for patients and contribute to a positive, team-oriented care environment

Qualifications

Active California SLP License (required)
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current BLS Certification
SNF experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
Available to start ASAP

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Individualized treatment planning and goal setting
Accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Patient and family education and training
Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication
BLS-certified clinical practice
