Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to empower patients to communicate and eat safely
Complete thorough patient documentation including evaluations, plans of care, and progress reports
Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient-centered treatment plans
Educate staff on evaluation results and latest research-based recommendations
Create engaging in-service presentations to boost team knowledge
Contact insurance companies to advocate for patient benefits
Prepare treatment sessions and provide reminder calls to ensure patient success

Qualifications

Master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited program
Active Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license
BLS certification
Valid driver's license
Intermediate computer proficiency

Education

Master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited program

Strong assessment and planning skills
