Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, plus call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound examinations
Conduct diagnostic procedures including drains and biopsies with precision
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results
Maintain detailed documentation using Fuji EPIC systems
Provide compassionate patient care during every scan
Complete 8-10 studies daily while upholding imaging standards

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification in General or OBGYN required
RVT certification preferred, RDCS a bonus
BLS certification required
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound procedures
Vascular ultrasound experience highly valued
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound techniques
Proficiency with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience performing procedures, drains, and biopsies
Familiarity with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Strong attention to detail and patient communication skills
