Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and other specialties
Complete required SIMs Lab training and demonstrate sterile technique for Foley and central line procedures
Support patients through pre-transplant evaluations, esophagectomies, and ER overflow situations

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with two attempts allowed
Must have reliable transportation for travel team assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfortable managing CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Proficient with non-titrating drips and cardiac step-down protocols
Excellent sterile field technique for Foley and central line care
Flexible and positive attitude toward floating across multiple telemetry units
