Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate physical therapy services to patients in their homes across greater Sacramento county
Treat a diverse patient population including cardio, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric cases
Develop personalized treatment plans that help patients regain independence and improve quality of life
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques for continued recovery

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in California
Minimum experience requirements vary - new grads considered in exceptional cases only
Strong clinical skills across multiple specialties including cardio, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric care
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits

Knowledge & Skills

Home health care experience preferred
Ability to work independently in various home settings
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation
Compassionate bedside manner with diverse patient populations
