Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to diverse patients including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-surgical cases
Interpret basic telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Collaborate with remote telemetry techs and charge nurses to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Support patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and spinal surgeries
Monitor and care for patients with CVA and TIA diagnoses
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support team needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general and orthopedic surgical patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended for smooth onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
MedSurg/Tele nursing fundamentals
Care coordination with nurse aides and remote monitoring teams
Patient education for respiratory, diabetic, and post-surgical needs
Cerner electronic health record navigation
