Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, and med-surg units
Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and complex cardiac surgery cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage diverse caseloads including ortho, total joints, oncology, and cardiology patients
Apply your expertise in ventilator management and acute care rehabilitation
Support patients through their entire hospital journey from ICU to discharge

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in orthopedics and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilator management experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across all hospital units
Orthopedic rehabilitation and total joint protocols
ICU and ventilator patient management
Cardiac surgery patient care and recovery
Oncology rehabilitation techniques
Cerner electronic medical records system
