Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Maintain strict sterile field protocols during all procedures and patient interactions
Support patients recovering from craniectomies, spine surgeries, and post-TPA treatment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Strong sterile technique knowledge for day-one orientation exam

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro post-surgical and stroke patient care
Centralized telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
Collaborative teamwork with charge nurses and clinical supervisors
Patient ratios of 1:3-4 with supportive PCT coverage
