Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to neuro-telemetry patients including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and brain tumors
Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin, and Heparin to maintain patient stability
Interpret EKGs and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes using central monitoring
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver bedside report and ensure seamless continuity of care
Float to other telemetry units and ICU overflow as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Titration of cardiac and insulin drips
Cerner EMR documentation
Central line dressing changes and sterile technique
Foley catheter insertion
