Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate physical therapy across both inpatient and outpatient settings
Treat a diverse caseload including ortho injuries, fractures, neuro conditions, wounds, and general debility
Collaborate with an experienced team of PTAs and rehab techs to optimize patient outcomes
Provide guidance and support to patients recovering from sports injuries, amputations, and neck pain
Precept students or new staff as needed to foster a culture of learning and growth

Qualifications

Active Texas state and national Physical Therapist license
Current BLS certification
IP/OP experience required
Wound care experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in treating SNF, acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient populations
Comfortable managing wound care, VACs, and a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions
Strong communication and collaboration skills with nursing and therapy colleagues
Able to adapt to a critical access hospital environment with varied patient needs
