Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg units
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and safe
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float to sister units when needed while maintaining the same high standard of care
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that truly make a difference

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC charting experience within the last 6 months preferred
Willingness to float to Med/Surg and PCU units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Alaris IV pump proficiency
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Team-first attitude and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
