Sonographer
Location: Durango, Colorado
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams
- Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision
- Complete 8-10 scans daily while maintaining excellent patient care standards
- Utilize Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems for accurate documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal outcomes
- Maintain RDMS certification and stay current with ultrasound best practices
Qualifications
- Current RDMS certification in General or OBGYN required
- BLS certification required
- RVT preferred, RDCS considered a bonus
- Strong experience in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound
- Proficiency with ultrasound-guided procedures
- Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and participate in call rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in General and OBGYN ultrasound imaging
- Vascular ultrasound experience preferred
- Comfortable performing ultrasound-guided procedures
- Familiarity with Phillips ultrasound equipment
- Knowledge of Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
