Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced virtual hospital technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
Collaborate with local RN staff to ensure timely responses to cardiac events
Accurately document and communicate rhythm changes to improve patient outcomes
Follow strict communication channels during routine and emergency situations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating cardiac monitoring knowledge
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms section (one attempt only)
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation coursework
Ability to work without another concurrent assignment during this contract
Willingness to complete 2-3 days of day shift orientation for night shift positions

Knowledge & Skills

EKG Interpretation and Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
Remote surveillance and centralized monitoring experience
Strong attention to detail with ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
Excellent communication skills for notifying nursing staff of changes
Comfortable working independently in a virtual hospital command center setting
