Registered Nurse - MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool
Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses, providing compassionate care to a variety of patients
- Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin with confidence and precision
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced float pool environment
- Collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aids to deliver safe, high-quality care with ratios of 1:4 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MedSurg Tele
- Support post-procedural and cardiac patients, including post-MI, post-Cath, and CABG recovery patients
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
- Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips and interpreting dysrhythmias
- Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract start
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
- Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen therapy
- Ability to float between multiple units and adapt quickly to changing assignments
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a collaborative float pool setting
