Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third day shift and every other night shift, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing teams for optimal patient outcomes
Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems
Support patients with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
Float throughout the hospital to meet varying respiratory therapy needs
Maintain flexibility and adaptability while delivering exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to work 36 hours per week on rotating shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong time management and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to work across multiple patient care areas
Willingness to continuously learn and grow professionally
Experience with various ventilator and respiratory equipment brands
