Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate compassionate nursing care for residents across all ages, tailoring to their unique needs
Lead with confidence, delegating and supervising team members while upholding top standards
Perform thorough assessments through interviews and observation to craft personalized care plans
Administer medications accurately and respond calmly to emergencies with sound judgment
Educate residents and families on health management, empowering them for optimal outcomes
Document meticulously in EHR and collaborate seamlessly with the healthcare team
Promote healing through individualized, goal-oriented care grounded in nursing principles

Qualifications

Current full, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska (or applied for before start)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
Clinical Competency Assessment within 3 months of hire and every three years
High Risk Competency within 3 months of hire and every year
Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Diploma)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nursing assessment, care planning, and medication administration
Strong leadership and emergency response capabilities
Proficiency in EHR documentation and patient teaching
Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, equipment operation like AED, and infection control
Excellent oral and written communication for team collaboration
