Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes promptly
• Assess patient status and communicate findings clearly with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders and protocols
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Prioritize patient safety and escalate concerns when clinical status changes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Telemetry experience or comfort with cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred or available
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and provide focused, high-quality care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Skilled in IV medication administration and general medical-surgical nursing
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond to acute changes in patient condition
• Strong teamwork, time management, and patient education skills
