Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Assist with robotic procedures using the Da Vinci Xi system
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed
Maintain readiness for trauma cases during on-call periods
Deliver compassionate care during general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and GI procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS certification
Minimum 2-3 years of operating room experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Proficiency with robotics Xi procedures
Experience across multiple surgical specialties including general, GYN, ortho, and ENT

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical information systems (SIS)
Ability to adapt quickly to new EMR platforms
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to handle varying daily case volumes
Commitment to maintaining high standards during call shifts
