Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the Neuro/Vascular ICU (NVICU)
• Manage and monitor central lines, arterial lines, and other advanced invasive devices
• Perform and assist with intubations and complex airway management when needed
• Safely care for patients with EVDs and collaborate with core staff for specialized cases
• Document care accurately in the Meditech EMR and communicate changes effectively to the care team
• Work as a reliable, accountable team member to maintain 2:1 patient ratios and ensure patient safety
• Participate in unit policies and quality initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (required)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care nursing experience (as listed)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Experience with central line and arterial line management, intubation, and EVD care
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR (preferred)
• Oncology or Neuro ICU experience is a plus

• Critical care nursing and bedside assessment skills
• Central line and arterial line management

• EVD care and neuro-critical care familiarity
• Proficiency using Meditech electronic medical records
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and patient advocacy
