Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the overnight MST shift
• Perform thorough assessments and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient condition and escalate changes to the care team promptly
• Document care and communicate clearly in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care
• Support procedural or mobile team tasks as required by the MST assignment
• Participate in handoffs and ensure continuity of care across shifts

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Experience or comfort working with MST (Mobile/Medical Support Team) preferred
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Comfort working overnight/overnight per diem shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - acceptable

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Proficient documentation in electronic health records
• Triage and critical thinking in high-acuity or fast-paced settings
• Infection control, safety practices, and patient advocacy
• Teamwork and clear, professional communication
