Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across assigned caseloads
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status accurately and timely
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and discharge plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition promptly and escalate when needed
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or compact RN license as applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
• Experience in acute care, med-surg, or similar nursing environments preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a teamwork mindset
• Ability to work a 12+ hour day shift and manage a busy patient load

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program accepted for LPN candidates

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy basics
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Care plan development and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Infection control practices and safety protocols
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
