Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment
• Assess residents regularly and develop or update individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize resident care
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and complete the Trinity Skills Checklist
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and documentation standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) status and ability to meet state licensing requirements; License/Certificate Verification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (2 Step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine) and physical/health statement
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and resident-focused care
• Proficiency in medication administration and nursing assessments
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and documentation standards
• Good clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and teamwork
• Comfort with competency testing and skills validation processes
