Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns in a supportive environment
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with a friendly, feedback-driven leadership team dedicated to quality care
Float within the Birthing Center to support mother-baby and postpartum needs as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP experience caring for patients 33 weeks and above
High-risk OB knowledge including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong communication and adaptability to unit workflows
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for family-centered care
