Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
Titrate Pitocin drips safely while monitoring fetal well-being
Collaborate with the on-call OB team to ensure safe outcomes for moms and babies
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with a hands-on, nurturing approach

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Comfortable functioning independently as both labor nurse and baby catcher

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring system
Ability to manage Pitocin titration safely
Flexible and adaptable in a small, rural hospital environment
