Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirement based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby units
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Support patients with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use needs with compassion and expertise
Collaborate with a minimum 2-RN staffing model to ensure safe, high-quality care
Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support system-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
Current ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
LDRP experience required
Ability to titrate drips and interpret fetal monitoring independently
Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays, and take call as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills across all phases of perinatal care
Proficiency with OBIX EFM system and fetal monitoring interpretation
Experience with bubble CPAP and basic respiratory support
Ability to manage high-acuity patients including those with diabetes and substance use
Flexible, team-oriented approach to floating and call coverage
