Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU with compassion and clinical precision
• Monitor and interpret complex physiologic data, intervening quickly and appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacists — to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform and document thorough nursing assessments, care plans, and medication administration accurately
• Educate patients and families about care plans and provide emotional support during critical moments
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives to keep standards high

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Recent ICU clinical experience and comfort with critical-care workflows
• BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong critical thinking, delegation, and communication skills
• Current TB screening and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ventilator management and titration of vasoactive medications
• Familiarity with bedside monitoring systems and interpreting hemodynamic trends
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Solid infection prevention and control practices in the ICU setting
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-acuity patients safely
