Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support nursing staff with patient transfers and safe handling
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with the care team
• Build trusting relationships with patients and their families to improve comfort and outcomes

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in California (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or able to obtain)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Current TB test and required immunizations per employer policy
• Reliable transportation for per diem assignments

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with direct patient care and personal support tasks
• Strong attention to detail for accurate charting and vital sign collection
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Basic knowledge of infection control and patient safety principles
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to prioritize patient dignity
