Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in patient areas
Assist with feeding, hygiene, and basic comfort measures
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification — current and valid in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar patient-care settings is a plus
Strong communication skills, compassion, and ability to work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, ADLs, and basic bedside care
Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
Competent in documenting care and reporting observations clearly
Ability to follow care plans and work under direction of RNs/LPNs
Good time management, reliability, and patient-centered attitude
