Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex conditions
Titrate life-saving medications including vasopressors, insulin, and sedatives
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while delivering compassionate patient care
Collaborate with intensivists and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Float to PCU and medical floors as needed to support the broader hospital community

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of ICU nursing experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and drip titration skills

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing and ICU protocols
Titration of vasopressors, insulin, heparin, and sedatives
Ventilator and BiPAP management
Cardiac rhythm interpretation
Patient care for COPD, pneumonia, CVA, sepsis, CHF, and STEMI
