Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and patient care across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and general procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using the Da Vinci system
Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and the care team to ensure seamless operations
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed and trained
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and fingernail policy
Educate and mentor teammates while embracing a culture of shared learning

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams, requiring versatility across procedures
Valid driver's license at time of submittal
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience in Pre/Post op and PACU settings
Familiarity with ER trauma response
Ability to adapt quickly to varied daily surgical schedules
Strong teamwork and communication skills
