Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized, compassionate care to neonates requiring intensive support
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with precision and expertise
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and their families
Serve as a safety advocate and resource across multiple units when needed
Deliver evidence-based care following AWHONN/NANN guidelines

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum three years of NICU nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and central line care
Neonatal assessment and family-centered care
Floating between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D units
Working independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
