Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision and care
Monitor and interpret telemetry to ensure patient safety and respond quickly to changes
Collaborate with respiratory therapists and the care team to manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Float within the zone to support various facilities and patient populations while maintaining excellent care standards
Mentor and support newer nurses while delivering high-acuity care to patients on CRRT, IABP, and Impella

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Epic experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with drip titration and telemetry interpretation

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing across multiple ICU types
Drip titration and medication management
Telemetry interpretation and monitoring
Ventilator and respiratory equipment management
Floating flexibility across ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg Tele units
Strong communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
