Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert critical care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen while collaborating with respiratory therapy
Interpret telemetry and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities across the Denver metro area as needed
Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing to patients requiring 1:1 or 1:2 ratios

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; 3+ years preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable with Epic documentation and all critical care drip titrations
Prior travel experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making in high-acuity settings
Expertise in ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to float between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units
Excellent communication and adaptability across multiple facilities
