Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Ensure compliance with departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards
Coordinate patient care and collaborate with healthcare team members
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with critical thinking and clinical expertise

Qualifications

3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
Active Alaska state RN license
BLS, ACLS, and HS AED certifications required
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple patients in a 31-bed unit
Competency in medication administration and monitoring
